Xerox DocuShare expands content management services

Xerox DocuShare has expanded its enterprise content management offering, providing new and easy ways for employees to access and manage paper and digital content wherever they are.

Xerox ConnectKey for DocuShare, a one-step scan-to-workflow solution, simplifies the process of incorporating hard copy content into enterprise document flows. Users can easily scan documents directly into a DocuShare collection or Windows folder via a Xerox ConnectKey or Xerox Extensible Interface Platform-enabled multifunction printer (MFP) simply by entering document information at the device. Complete business workflows can also be developed and shared in minutes to an entire team or organization.

DocuShare Mobile further extends and simplifies business process automation – allowing workers to access, search, view, download and share documents stored in DocuShare from their iOS mobile device, significantly improving on-the-go efficiency.

“We have today’s workers covered in terms of helping them stay productive wherever they are – in the office, at home or onsite with a customer,” said John Gonzalez, director of product management and business development, Xerox Content Management. “With simple access and workflow automation, enterprises can increase the accuracy and repeatability of routine business processes without frustrating employees or compromising corporate security.”

In addition, Xerox continues to expand DocuShare’s cloud content management service which provides a secure, hosted environment where organizations can easily capture, manage, process and share documents. Each deployment is configured to the customer’s specific requirements – delivered quickly via Xerox’s secure cloud infrastructure – and managed and maintained by Xerox.

ConnectKey for DocuShare will be available in early 2014. DocuShare Mobile is currently available for download in the Apple App store.
