Kyocera HyPAS apps in high demand

Document Solutions UK has announced significant growth for its suite of application software, powered by HyPAS, with demand increasing by over 156% in the last twelve months.

Developed around real business needs and challenges, there are now around 15 off-the-shelf or custom-built Kyocera HyPAS apps, many of which are available free of charge or on a trial basis to customers. Further developments are regularly taking place to improve workflows and efficiency in the office based on customer feedback.

Amongst the most popular Kyocera HyPAS apps are Cloud Connect, which allows users to easily scan to, or print from the cloud directly from the MFP and Colour Control that gives users the ability to control access to colour printing – saving on print costs overall.

One HyPAS app which has been particularly well received in the education sector is Teaching Assistant, proving invaluable to teachers and has just been awarded 4.5 out of a possible 5 stars in an independent review by Buyers Lab International (BLI) – the leading authority and provider of competitive intelligence, testing and reviews on the imaging industry.

BLI highlighted Teaching Assistant’s time and resource saving benefits, which were recognised as allowing teachers to concentrate more on face-to-face tutoring and classroom activities, and less on laborious administrative tasks.

Commenting on the success of the HyPAS programme, Sarah White, Product Marketing Manager, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd said: “We’re delighted with the demand from our customers for Kyocera HyPAS apps, and have found this to be a great way to help us to better understand their particular frustrations and challenges in the workplace.

“We are committed to ensuring that the HyPAS programme allows us to offer a KYOCERA software solution for any document environment, and will continue to develop new apps to meet demand.”
